I’ve photographed yachts since 1992, for brokers, shipyards, charter managers, captains and owners. The brief is always the same: images that sell the yacht and show how she really feels on board.
A complete shoot covers the yacht at anchor in the best light, running shots from a chase boat, drone aerials, and every interior space, from the main saloon to the details of joinery, materials and toys.
I’m a licensed skipper, I’ve lived aboard for years and, as a nautical journalist, I’ve tested more than 400 boats. I know how a crew works and how to plan the day around guests, weather and the yacht’s schedule. Shoots stay short and crews stay relaxed.
Photography, video, aerials and a 360° virtual tour can be booked together on the same day, with one person responsible for the whole image set.
