Drone & helicopter
Aerial yacht photography
Drone and helicopter stills and 4K video that show a yacht’s lines, her wake and where she sits in the landscape.

I’m a certified drone pilot, and I shoot from helicopters for larger productions. Aerials show what no deck shot can: the full profile, the deck layout and the scale of the yacht against the coast.
Top-down passes, orbits and tracking shots at speed are planned with the captain, so the yacht holds her course and the light falls where it should.
Every flight is planned around local rules and marina regulations. Near busy harbours and protected areas a helicopter can be the better choice, and I’ll tell you when I plan the shoot.
Aerials can be shot on the same day as photography and video, and edited into short reels for listings and social media.

Questions
Drone or helicopter?
A drone covers most yachts at anchor and underway, with more freedom of angle and a lower cost. A helicopter suits large yachts at speed, long tracking runs and areas where drones can’t fly.
Are you licensed to fly a drone?
Yes. I’m a certified drone pilot, and every flight is planned around local rules and marina regulations.
Do you also shoot aerial video?
Yes: 4K aerial video, delivered as edited reels for listings and social media, or combined with on-board footage in a full yacht film.
Can aerials be combined with a photo shoot?
Yes. Aerials, photography, video and a 360° tour can all be shot on the same day.
